Billing and payments
Lection offers paid subscriptions to access our web scraping services. When you sign up for one of these subscriptions, you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges to your payment method on file.
You may cancel your subscription by emailing us at support@lection.ai or through our billing portal. If you do not cancel your subscription before a payment is due, we reserve the right to not refund you, and you may not file a dispute or chargeback with your bank or credit card provider.
If you have any billing concerns, please reach out to us at support@lection.ai. We are responsive and will work to resolve any issues.
AI and data processing
Lection uses artificial intelligence, including large language models (LLMs) provided by third-party services such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, to process your web scraping requests. By using our service, you acknowledge that:
- Your scraping requests and extracted data may be processed by third-party AI services including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. However, we do not store, access, or touch your extracted data - it remains entirely in your control.
- We do not control the AI models or their training data
- AI-generated results may not always be accurate or complete
- You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of extracted data
- We may cache your requests to improve performance and reduce costs, but we do not store your extracted data
We are not liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in AI-generated results or for any decisions made based on such results.
Accuracy of information
Occasionally there may be information on our website or in our extension that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.
We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information on our website or extension, except as required by law. No specified update or refresh date should be taken to indicate that all information has been modified or updated.
Intellectual property rights
This Agreement does not transfer to you any intellectual property owned by Lection or third parties, and all rights, titles, and interests in and to such property will remain solely with Lection. All trademarks, service marks, graphics and logos used in connection with the Extension and Services are trademarks or registered trademarks of Lection or its licensors.
Your use of the Extension and Services grants you no right or license to reproduce or otherwise use any of Lection's or third party trademarks.
Limitation of liability
In no event shall Lection, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Extension and Services.
Our total liability to you for all damages shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Changes and amendments
We reserve the right to modify this Agreement or its terms relating to the Extension and Services at any time, effective upon posting of an updated version of this Agreement on our website. When we do, we will send you an email to notify you. Continued use of the Extension and Services after any such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
