Scheduled scrapes that land in Google Sheets
Connect Google Sheets once, then every scheduled Lection run writes its rows to a spreadsheet you choose. Append to one tab, or start a new tab on each run.
What it does
Append to one tab
Each run adds its rows under the sheet name you set, so one tab keeps growing over time.
New tab on each run
Each run creates a tab with the prefix you choose, which is handy for keeping run history.
Existing or new spreadsheet
Select a spreadsheet from your Google account, or create a new one from Lection.
Run now to test
Click Run now on a schedule to send a run immediately instead of waiting for the next time slot.
Set it up
5 steps, about ten minutes the first time.
Save a scrape
Run the scrape you want and save it. A schedule re-runs a saved scrape on a timer.
Create a schedule
Open Scheduled Scrapes, create a schedule for that saved scrape, and pick Hourly, Daily or Weekly with your timezone.
Choose Sheets under Delivery
In the Delivery section, select Sheets, then click Connect Google Sheets and approve access for your Google account.
Pick the spreadsheet and write behavior
Click Select Spreadsheet to choose an existing file, or New spreadsheet to create one. Then choose Append to existing tab with a sheet name, or Create new tab each run with a tab prefix.
Save and click Run now
Save the schedule, then click Run now to see the first rows land in your sheet.

Good to know
- Sheets delivery adds rows. It does not match existing rows by a key. For upserts on a unique column, use the n8n Google Sheets template, or the Airtable and Supabase destinations, which support upsert.
- Pick a spreadsheet your connected Google account can edit.
- The Sheets tab is locked on the free plan. Standard, Professional and the 30-day trial unlock it.
Example use cases
Competitor price tracking
Schedule a competitor's pricing page weekly. Append mode keeps one running history in a single tab.
Lead lists from Google Maps and directories
Run a Google Maps or directory search on a schedule. Use a new tab on each run for dated snapshots, or the n8n alerts template when you only want businesses you have not seen yet.
Instagram comment reporting
Schedule the comments on a post and keep each run in its own tab for a weekly report.
