How to export Instagram followers to Excel or CSV

You can export followers from any account you have permission to view. For private accounts, you must be an approved follower to access their followers list.

Log in to Instagram

Make sure you're logged into Instagram in this browser. Open instagram.com and sign in.

Step 3

Enter a username

Enter any public account's username (or your own). The tool will look up the account and fetch followers.

Step 4

Export your data

Click "Export All" to load every follower (press Stop to keep what has loaded), then download Excel, CSV, or JSON. "Load More" fetches one page at a time instead.

Honest limits

  • Instagram may stop returning followers before the end of the list for accounts other than your own, so very large accounts can come back incomplete.
  • Private accounts work only if you follow them.
  • It runs in desktop Chrome with the extension, not on a phone.
  • Instagram can rate-limit long exports. If loading stalls, press Stop to keep what has loaded, wait a few minutes and try again.

Why do I need to be logged in?
Instagram's followers API requires authentication. Without being logged in, the API returns an error. This tool uses your existing session to make authenticated requests.
How many followers can I export?
Lection sets no limit, and "Export All" keeps loading until Instagram stops returning followers. For accounts other than your own, Instagram may stop early, and it may rate-limit you after many requests.
