How It Works

This tool uses Instagram's web API to fetch a profile's following list. Since the API requires authentication, it uses your existing Instagram session cookies from this browser. The Lection extension acts as a bridge, making the request with your cookies locally — your credentials never leave your device.

You can export following from any account you have permission to view. For private accounts, you must be an approved follower to access their following list.

How to Use This Tool

Make sure you're logged into Instagram in this browser. Open instagram.com and sign in.

Step 3

Is this safe to use?
Yes. The extension makes requests locally from your browser using your existing session. Your password and session cookies are never sent to any external server.
Will Instagram ban my account?
This tool uses Instagram's official web API with natural request patterns. However, excessive use could trigger rate limits. We recommend loading following in reasonable batches.
Can I export following from private accounts?
Only if you're an approved follower of that account. Instagram's API only returns data you have permission to view.
Why do I need to be logged in?
Instagram's following API requires authentication. Without being logged in, the API returns an error. This tool uses your existing session to make authenticated requests.
How many accounts can I export?
There's no hard limit, but Instagram may rate-limit you after many requests. Use the "Load More" button to paginate through following incrementally.
